Architectural council for a 5G is created for the purpose of development in the Russian Federation of the hi-tech area "Mobile Networks of Communication of Fifth Generation".

Entry into the structure of Architectural council of representatives of Avtomatika concern

Representatives of Avtomatika concern of State Corporation Rostec were a part of Architectural council for implementation of the tripartite agreement about intentions between the Government of the Russian Federation, Rostelecom company and Rostec State corporation for the purpose of development in Russia of the hi-tech area "Mobile Networks of Communication of Fifth Generation". On December 4, 2019 reported about it in Avtomatika concern.

By estimates of industry experts, since 2022 in the Russian Federation the next ten-year cycle of development of communication networks will begin. The predicted and achievable size of the market of the domestic telecom equipment, including - a 5G, will be up to 30% by 2030. It is expected that development and implementation of networks of the next generation will allow to open new opportunities for many industries and the markets, including intelligent systems of management, the system of the smart house, Internet of Things and others.

Also entered into Architectural council the industrial director of the Radio-electronic Complex of Rostec Sergey Sakhnenko; representatives of Avtomatika concern: CEO of NCI LLC Konstantin Solodukhin; CEO of NPK "Kriptonit" Vartan Khachaturov; the deputy CEO for development of Avtomatika concern - the CEO of Scientific Research Institute Masshtab entering into concern, Pavel Smirnov.

Priorities in development of communication networks of fifth generation are search and selection of the domestic technologies and solutions having the high potential of development and application and also determination of architectural and technology scenarios of integration of the Russian equipment into complete solutions of the foreign companies including due to localization of production hardware-software a component and carrying out joint Researches and Development — the CEO of Avtomatika concern Vladimir Kabanov said.

Creation of Architectural council

In the summer of 2019 of Rostec Group, PJSC Rostelecom and the Government of the Russian Federation signed the tripartite agreement about intentions on joint development of technologies of the distributed register, quantum sensors, the next generations of narrowband wireless connectivity for Internet of Things and communication of near and average ranges and also next generations of mobile wireless communication (5G).

For the purpose of implementation of the agreement and development in the Russian Federation of the hi-tech area "Mobile Networks of Communication of Fifth Generation" Architectural council which was headed by the vice president for strategic initiatives of PJSC Rostelecom Boris Glazkov and the director of special orders of Rostec Group Vasily Brovko was created.
