2022: Archive Funds and Documents

Archival funds of management documentation are provided by documents of legislative and executive authorities of the city of Stavropol, financial and tax organizations, institutions of urban planning, public utilities, transport, education, health care, culture, social protection, higher and secondary vocational education, industrial enterprises, etc.

2011: 65th anniversary of the archive department of the administration of the city of Stavropol

In January 2011, the archival department of the Stavropol city administration celebrated its 65th anniversary. During this time, employees of the archive department processed hundreds of thousands of documents and prepared answers to thousands of requests from residents of Stavropol and other regions. In 2010 alone, employees fulfilled about 3800 requests, most often, Stavropol residents applied for documents related to issues such as confirmation of seniority, accrual of pensions, confirmation of property rights of citizens. According to Svetlana Antonova, head of the department, in 2011, about 19 thousand permanent storage cases for 1981-2009. and more than 20 thousand personnel cases for 1943-2010.

1992: Reorganization into the archival department of the administration of the city of Stavropol

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the RSFSR of August 22, 1991 No. 75 "On some issues of the activities of executive authorities in the RSFSR" to perform functions in the field of archival businesses and ensure the activities of the representative and executive authorities of the municipality, as well as information services of institutions, organizations, enterprises and citizens by the decree of the head of the administration of the city of Stavropol dated January 24, 1992 No. 71 "On the structure of management of the national economy of the city of Stavropol" an archival department of the administration of the city of Stavropol was created.

1987: Renamed into the archival department of the executive committee of the Stavropol City Council of People's Deputies

By the decision of the Stavropol City Council of People's Deputies of October 2, 1987, the Stavropol City State Archive was renamed the archival department of the executive committee of the Stavropol City Council of People's Deputies.

1964: Creation of Stavropol City State Archive

The Stavropol City State Archive was originally created in January 1946 by Decree of the Council of People's Commissars of January 19, 1946 No. 8-203.
