ArgusSpectrum

ArgusSpectrum, the enterprise of Russia in the development areas and productions of electronic instruments of signaling, was founded by graduates of the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute of M.I. Kalinin in 1993. The list of products which are turned out by the enterprise includes more than 150 different devices and their modifications for creation of the systems of protection, the fire warning and fire extinguishing, transmission systems of notifications and also control and management systems for access.

Development

From 450 employees of the enterprise in department of development 50 people work. It allows to master annually in serial production of 5 - 7 new devices. Development of devices together with Research Center Okhrana GUVO Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation allows to consider operating conditions and experience of private security, specific to Russia.

Production

The process building more than 7000 sq.m is reconstructed according to requirements of the international standard ISO 9000. Five automatic transfer lines of assembly based on robots of PHILIPS company with a performance more than 70 thousand elements per hour and the automated line of soldering by a double wave allow to exclude the intermittent errors inherent in manual installation, and significantly increase quality and reliability of the released devices. 100% control of all released devices are carried out at special stands. And, unlike foreign firms, at annunciators not only electric parameters, but also characteristics of detection and noise immunity are checked. Modern technologies of surface mount and computer systems of quality control allowed the enterprise to install since 1996 5-year guarantee period on the products.

Department

With the assistance of ArgusSpectrum company in 1997 at the St. Petersburg State Polytechnical university the "Radio-electronic Information Security Tools" department was open. Together with department the enterprise developed the radio system of disturbing signaling Radio button. Today it protects more than 100,000 employees of private security, militia and the private security companies. Active part in the project was taken by the graduates of department who came back after 2000 to Russia. Knowledge gained by them abroad in the field of the latest telecommunication technologies and enormous experience of development was realized further in the wireless system of the security fire warning and notification СТРЕЛЕЦ®.

Achievements

Staff of the enterprise received the highest state awards.

• In 2003 to group of developers for an invention and implementation of a unique security system Centurion for the State Hermitage the Award of the Government of the Russian Federation in science and technology was awarded.
• In 2007 the young staff of the ArgusSpectrum enterprise became winners of an award of the Government of the Russian Federation in science and technology for young scientists for the invention of a wireless system of the security fire warning and notification СТРЕЛЕЦ®.

Thanks to wireless communication between all STRELETS® devices it is capable to control dynamics of development of the fire and to announce it to persons on duty of the 01 center and the mobile headquarters of fire extinguishing. Since 2005, more than 1,000,000 devices serially are produced and implemented. Today the STRELETS® radio system is set and is operated not only in Russia, but also in Europe, Asia, Australia and the CIS countries.

Important distinctive feature of activity of ArgusSpectrum company and all its products is the complete set of domestic and international certificates.

• In 2003 the quality management system of ArgusSpectrum was certified in the largest world center LPCB (Great Britain) on compliance to ISO 9001:2000.
• At the end of 2010 the ArgusSpectrum company carried out to LPCB certification of the STRELETS® radio system according to requirements of the EN 54 standard of Part 25, having become the Europe's first producer certifying a wireless fire alarm system.
