2024: Opening of a plant in Uzbekistan
The Dagestan company, together with Uzbek partners, opened a factory for the production of textile fiberglass in Uzbekistan. Investments in the project amounted to ₽100 million. This was announced in August 2024 by the government of Dagestan, stressing that the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Minister of Industry and Trade of Dagestan Nizam Khalilov were present at the grand opening of the enterprise.
According to Rambler, the new enterprise, called Asadbek Glass Fayber, was created on the basis of cooperation between the Russian and Uzbek sides. The opening ceremony was also attended by investor Patakhudin Magomedov, who noted the importance of this project for the economic development of both countries. The plant specializes in the production of stage textile fiberglass, which meets the strict requirements of GOST Russia, which guarantees high quality of products and its compliance with international standards.
Raw materials for production will be supplied by the Russian company Caspian Glass LLC, which is part of the Caspian Composite Group of Companies. The Russian side also provided special equipment for localizing the production of glass fabrics and glass fiber mesh. It is important to note that the Dagestan side invested about ₽50 million in the creation of the plant, and the Uzbek partners - 6.8 billion Uzbek soums, which is equivalent to ₽47 million.
It is expected that the company's monthly production volumes will be about ₽20 million. To ensure the efficient operation of the new enterprise, 28 employees from Uzbekistan were trained at the Dagestan enterprise KZS LLC, which indicates a high level of personnel training and the transfer of knowledge and technologies.
The joint venture plans to produce products that will be in demand both in the domestic and foreign markets, which will strengthen the position of both countries in the international arena.[1]
