2020: Walmart sells network for 6.8 billion pounds sterling
In October, 2020 the world's largest retail retail chain stores, the American Walmart, agreed about sale to the British supermarket chain Asda belonging to it for 6.8 billion pounds sterling (about 8.75 billion dollars), act as buyers TDR Capital investment company and founders of retailer EG Group - brothers Mohsin and Zuber Issa.
It is noted that within new structure of property brothers Issah and TDR Capital will hold Asda controlling stake, at this Walmart will save the investments into capital stock of the company, the commercial relations with it and the place in its Board of Directors.
