2022: Opening an office in Russia

In mid-April 2022, the Belarusian manufacturer of mining equipment AtomMining announced the opening of a representative office in Russia. The company, as it itself states, will become one of the first suppliers of cryptocurrency mining equipment in the Russian market, when mining will be legalized in the country.

The legislation of Belarus allows you to engage in cryptocurrency mining absolutely legally. That is why we opened a representative office of AtomMining in the Russian Federation, thereby enabling Russian investors to enter this business - the company's website says.

According to a statement on the AtomMining website, the company was founded "by a team of specialists with experience in the crypto industry since 2016." In April 2022, State Duma deputies began developing a bill on the legalization of cryptocurrency mining. It will be introduced before the end of 2022, said Anatoly Aksakov, one of the authors of the bill, chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market.[1]
