History
Charles Stert's university was founded in 1989 as a result of consolidation of several colleges of the advanced education, including teacher training college in Bathurst, higher education institute in Olbury and teacher training college in Uogga-Uogga. In 1998 the university opens training center in Sydney, and in 2007 – in Melbourne. They are controlled Study Group. In 2005 under the management of the university of Charles Stert passed a campus of the University of Sydney in Orange. The university has a broad spectrum of distance learning courses, enjoying popularity as among the Australian, and foreign students. Charles Stert's university takes high positions in the rating of employment of graduates. 87% of his graduates find work within four months after completion of education. It is famous for the academic programs focused on further work. To provide the graduates with the skills satisfying requirements of the industry, university rates are developed in cooperation with representatives of the industry. The university aims at perfection in areas of researches, revealing and supporting the directions and projects which allow to compete at the international level and also preparing own scientific personnel. Bio-security of plants, the system of farming, increase in social and ecological sustainability and also an irrigation, contextual theology, artificial intelligence, methods of space modeling, increase in productivity of agriculture through molecular biology, the environment and steady wine growing belong to the research interests of the university cardiovascular.
