2018: Sale of division of X-IO Storage and change of the name
The Violin Systems LLC company announced on October 16, 2018 agreement signature about intentions with X-IO Technologies according to which it purchases the division of X-IO Storage which developed an intelligent system of storage (ISE) of data all-flash, hybrid model and DWH on hard drives. Financial terms of transaction are not disclosed. It is supposed that end will be complete within 30 days. Read more here.
X-IO Technologies, in turn, announced renaming into Axellio Inc. and intention to be focused on the solutions for peripheral calculations (edge computing) and hyper convergent infrastructure.
2017: Announcement of the first product
In 2017 X-IO provided the first product Axellio edge computing.
2011: Change of the name with X-IO Technologies
In 2011 the XIOtech company began to be called X-IO Technologies.
2007: Purchase of Seagate of ASA
In 2007 XIOtech purchased Seagate of ASA.
2002: Selection in separate company
In 2002 XIOtech was selected in separate company and sold to venture capital company.
1999: Acquisition by Seagate company
In 1999 the XIOtech company was purchased by Seagate company. Was a part of Seagate Advanced Storage Architecture group.
1997: Formation of XIOtech
The X-IO Technologies company appeared in 1997 as XIOtech.
