At the end of 2023, Belgorod Dairy Plant JSC, the Russian structure of the Italian corporation Parmalat, received a net profit of approximately 521.25 million rubles. According to Interfax, the plant's revenue in 2023 amounted to 8.33 billion rubles. For comparison, a year earlier, the company received 8.39 billion rubles. Thus, the fall in this indicator was at around 0.7%. The cost of sales on an annualized basis decreased by 2.5% - from 7.68 billion to 7.49 billion rubles. Accounts payable of the plant for the year increased from 394.6 million rubles to 524.9 million rubles, receivables - from 1.76 billion rubles to 2.05 billion rubles.
In total revenue in 2023, sterilized milk accounted for 4.69 billion rubles, which is 2.4% less than in the previous year. Sales of sterilized cream decreased by 7.9% - to 1.88 billion rubles, while the demand for cheese-curd products decreased on an annualized basis by 9.9%, amounting to 648 million rubles. At the same time, revenue from the sale of pasteurized milk rose 1.6 times, reaching 65.16 million rubles.
The report also says that the gross profit of Belgorod Dairy Plant JSC rose by 18.5% - from 704.67 million rubles in 2022 to 834.83 million rubles in 2023. Profit from sales on an annualized basis showed an increase of 17.8% - from 547.3 million rubles to 644.61 million rubles. As of the end of May 2024, 99.75% of the enterprise is owned by Parmalat S.p.A. The shareholders also include Lactalis MK LLC with a share of 0.22% and an individual.[1]
2022: Revenue growth by 6.6% to RUB 8.39 billion
In 2022, Belgorod Dairy Plant raised 8.39 billion rubles against 7.87 billion rubles a year earlier. The net profit of the Russian subsidiary of the Italian concern Parmalat in comparison with the same periods doubled - from 152.25 billion to 309.69 billion rubles. According to Interfax, citing materials from Belgorod Dairy Plant JSC, sales of sterilized milk from the company in 2022 increased by 3.2%, to 4.81 billion rubles. For sterilized cream, the amount of revenue increased by 2.4%, to 2.05 billion rubles. For cheese-curd products, revenue increased by 31% to 719.4 million rubles. At the same time, revenues from the sale of pasteurized milk decreased six times, to 41.9 million rubles.
It also follows from the reporting that the company's accounts payable for 2022 decreased from 591.6 million rubles to 394.6 million rubles, the receivable remained at the same level - 1.8 billion rubles.
In October 2022, the Lactalis group (developing the President, Galbani, Parmalat and others brands) announced that it would continue to work in the Russian market.
