2024: Opening of the centre

In February 2024, a high-tech multidisciplinary medical complex "Beloostrov" was opened in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region. The governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko, wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

It is symbolic that the Beloostrov high-tech clinic is open today - on Science Day. Everything created in this "medical city" - from architectural solutions to a linear accelerator for photon therapy and air-disinfecting laminar ceilings - is an innovative development of scientists: Russian and foreign. The medical center in the Yukkovsky settlement of the Leningrad region was built with private funds, but in addition to paid services, it will work under the policies of compulsory and voluntary medical insurance, - said Drozdenko.

The clinic consists of three buildings and nine infrastructure facilities (including a laboratory complex), and also has its own ambulance fleet and a helicopter platform. The total area of ​ ​ buildings is 132 thousand square meters.. There are 286 wards (420 beds) in the hospital, where adults and children are hospitalized. The clinic also has a cancer center and 20 operating rooms. The equipment consists of more than 2.5 thousand units of modern equipment. Medical services will be available to residents of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region on compulsory medical insurance. Earlier it was reported that the volume of investments in this project will amount to 30 billion rubles.

The clinic is equipped with ventilators and anesthesia and respiratory equipment, video systems for endoscopic surgery, an automated sterilization center for medical equipment with personalized control technologies for the movement of tools. Also in the medical center biplane angiograph, linear accelerator for photon therapy, intraoperative CT are installed. The laminar ceiling system allows you to disinfect the air almost completely.^[1]
