2023: Ex-CEO of S7 became the main shareholder

Engineering (part of S7 Group of Companies) and the former general director of Space Transport Systems LLC (S7 Space, part of S7) Sergey Savchenkov acquired 22.66% and 59.52%, respectively, in the authorized capital of Berdsky Electromechanical Plant JSC (BEMZ). This was reported in April 2023 at BEMZ.

According to Interfax, citing materials from the plant, six holders of large packages sold the shares: Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Vladimir Kalganov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the plant Leonid Kirillov, Svetlana Infantry, member of the Board of Directors Anatoly Mikhulya and former general director of the plant Victor Osin and his son Aleksei Osin. They ceased to be shareholders.

Sergey Savchenkov acquired 59.52% of BEMZ

A general meeting of BEMZ shareholders is scheduled for May 12, 2023, at which it is also planned to elect a new board of directors. Several former and current top managers of the S7 group, including Sergei Savchenkov and co-owner of the S7 Group Vladislav Filev, have been approved as candidates for election.

As follows from the extract of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, co-owners of Engineering LLC are S7 Group of Companies CJSC (99.99%) and Vladislav Filev, member of the board of directors of Siberia Airlines JSC (0.01%).

Berdsk Electromechanical Plant is a partner of the state corporation Roscosmos and a city-forming enterprise in the city of Berdsk (Novosibirsk Region). It is an engineering enterprise specializing in the production of products of precision mechanics and electromechanics. According to an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the main activity of the plant is the production of parts and accessories of aircraft and spacecraft.

The BEMZ holding includes several subsidiaries, including the production of carpentry and furniture from natural wood (Ksilema LLC), consumer electrical goods (Elektropribory-BEMZ LLC), corrugated cardboard and corrugated pipes (BEMZ-Tara LLC).^[1]
