2021: Sandvik Acquisition Agreement

The group of companies Sandvik signed an agreement to acquire CNC Software Inc, a CADCAM supplier/solutions for metalworking industry Mastercam brand. This became known on September 17, 2021.

Thanks to the acquisition of CNC Software, Sandvik becomes the owner of the world-class CAM brand and the Mastercam software package - a CAM system with a user base (about 270,000 licenses). CNC Software will join the Automation of Design, Planning and Production Preparation division within the Sandvik Manufacturing and Machining Solutions business line of the Sandvik group of companies.

Over the past 2 years, Sandvik Coromant's alliance (a division of Sandvik's international industrial group), a global supplier of tools, solutions and know-how for the metalworking industry, and CNC Software, the developer of the Mastercam CAD/CAM system, has demonstrated high results from collaboration.
