COBHET - Russian Association of Project management

For 2007-2011. The association strengthened the position as within the country, and in the field of the international professional activity. Contacts with federal and regional authorities, with business and public organizations were come and become stronger. The geography and fields of activity and contacts of Association and its members is significantly expanded. Successfully the SOVNET certified program existing within the international certification of IPMA works. Now more than 2,000 people were entitled the certified project management specialists. For last years one more very demanded certified program – assessment of an organizational and technology maturity of the companies in the field of project management started.

Since 2008, within SOVNET special interest groups – associations of the specialists working in some certain industry and interested in project management actively function. Now successfully works 10 SGI, the total number of members of which is more than 120 people. Specialists of SOVNET take part in a number of the international IPMA projects, including in development of the international standard on project management of ISO 21500. Also work on development of the Russian standards on project management is conducted. By this moment standards passed editing and the examination in Rosstandart, the expected term of adoption of standards - the 2011th year. In recent years in Russia and in the world there were serious changes in the field of application of methods and instruments of project management – and it including result of continuous activity of SOVNET directed to improvement and promoting of project management.
