2025: Alexander Chachava Leta Capital Fund squeezed out of C Teleport

At the end of December 2025, it became known that the majority shareholders of the Dutch business travel management company C Teleport are seeking forced expulsion from the number of shareholders of the Leta Capital Fund III investment fund, associated with the co-owner of Yandex and Ozon Alexander Chachava.

The $100 million Leta Capital Fund III was established in the Cayman Islands in 2021 by the venture capital company Leta Capital, founded by Chachava. The fund focuses on investments in the Eastern European IT-Business. In 2022, Leta Capital Fund III invested €2 million in C Teleport, receiving a 7.84% stake in this company in exchange. C Teleport itself was founded in Rotterdam by Dmitry Belyakov and Peter Kirilov.

According to the Vedomosti newspaper, C Teleport and its majority shareholder C Management are seeking the forced sale of the Leta Capital Fund III stake. The reason is concerns about "the consequences of a possible inclusion in the EU sanctions list of the beneficiary of the fund" (his name has not been disclosed). Based on this request, the Amsterdam District Court suspended Leta Capital Fund III's corporate rights in C Teleport. In particular, the voting, approval, veto, appointment of a non-executive director for shares owned by Leta Capital Fund III and the powers of a director appointed at the suggestion of the fund are suspended. It is expected that the final decision within the framework of the process will be made by the Chamber of Entrepreneurship.

In addition, the plaintiffs asked the court to order Leta Capital Fund III to provide information on the organizational structure of the fund requested by C Teleport's main creditor, Floryn. However, this claim was rejected. Meanwhile, the financial company Floryn announced its intention to break off cooperation with C Teleport due to possible sanctions EU against persons associated with. Russia[1]
