2021

Purchase of industrial software manufacturer AutoForm

At the end of November 2021, the investment company Carlyle announced the acquisition of the Swiss manufacturer of industrial software AutoForm from the private investment company Astorg. The deal amounted to $2 billion. More details here.

Purchase of a manufacturer of equipment for TV broadcasts LiveU for $400 million

At the end of July 2021, it became known that the investment company Carlyle acquired for $400 million the company LiveU, whose satellite/mobile equipment and software for live video broadcasts is used by more than 3,000 large media organizations. More details here.

Purchase of medical equipment manufacturer Medline Industries

In early June 2021, a group of private investment companies entered into a deal to acquire Medline Industries for more than $30 billion. This is one of the largest purchases of companies involving credit and the sale of assets to cover debts since the financial crisis. More details here.
