Center for Informatization and Assessment of the Quality of Education (TSIOKO) of the Vologda Oblast

History

2014

To implement the tasks, the Center has modern equipment, highly qualified specialists in the field of information and communication technologies, assessment of the quality of education, and the organization of distance learning work.

The state institution of the Vologda Oblast "Center for Education Quality Assessment" was created by order of the Department of Education of the Vologda Oblast dated August 19, 2003 No. 836.

At the first stage of its development, the Center carried out information technology and organizational and methodological support for the experiment on the introduction of a unified state exam (hereinafter referred to as the Unified State Exam) in the region, its preparation and conduct. The collection and initial analysis of data on the Unified State Exam, as well as the improvement of information and technical support made it possible to begin monitoring the quality of education. The experience of organizing such a mass procedure as the Unified State Exam determined the capabilities of the Center to carry out tasks related to the maintenance of various assessment procedures: assessing the quality of educational achievements of students, the regional stage of international comparative research, and organizing federal projects at the regional level.

In the course of its functioning, the Center performed tasks most relevant for the education system of the region: it supported educational expertise of educational institutions, certification of pedagogical and managerial workers of educational institutions of the Vologda region, competitive procedures within the framework of the implementation of the priority national project "Education."

In 2010, the tasks facing the institution were significantly expanded by new areas: informatization of the education system of the Vologda Oblast, the organization of distance education for children with disabilities. Since that time, the Center has been called the budgetary institution of the education system of the Vologda Region "Center for Informatization and Assessment of the Quality of Education."

The structure of the Center includes 6 departments:

• Organizational Support and Education Quality Assessment Department;
• Department of Remote Educational Technologies;
• Telecommunications and System Administration
• Logistics Department;
• Legal and Human Resources Support Department
• administrative department.

2010

In 2010, the tasks facing the Institution were significantly expanded by new areas: informatization of the education system of the Vologda Oblast, the organization of distance education for children with disabilities. Since that time, the Institution has been called the budgetary institution of the education system of the Vologda Region "Center for Informatization and Assessment of the Quality of Education."

2003

The budgetary institution of the education system of the Vologda region "Center for Informatization and Assessment of the Quality of Education" has existed since 2003.
