2023: Training Centre Launch
On May 11, 2023, it became known about the launch of a training program for instructors in the control of combat FPV-drones (first-person view, "first-person view") at the Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions (CDC) in Zhukovsky near Moscow. According to the general director of the organization Dmitry Kuzyakin, the first set of listeners of the "Corps of Heroes" program will begin training during May 2023.
He noted that FPV technology, where the operator pilots a drone in first-person mode, is actively used as part of a special operation in Ukraine by both the Russian military and the enemy. And this technology requires special training. Trained instructors will further train pilots of combat FPV drone crews.
Soldiers who are injured, incompatible with the continuation of the service, including amputation of the lower extremities, will also be able to undergo training as instructors. The program is designed for 25 days, nine people will study at the same time. The program involves field practice, the duration of which will be three weeks.
We are ready to begin training instructor staff among people with disabilities, including those with lower limb amputations. In the future, servicemen will be able to continue serving in the ranks of the RF Armed Forces as instructors, "Dmitry Kuzyakin emphasized in a conversation with TASS. |
