The Infor company, the supplier of business applications, announced in the spring of 2013 reaching an agreement on acquisition of Certpoint Systems company — based in Roslyn Heights, the State of New York, the supplier of solutions SaaS for training management (LMS) and the training content (LCMS). Financial terms of transaction do not reveal. It is expected that acquisition will be complete by April 1, 2013.

Thanks to acquisition of Certpoint in Infor expect to add the software package on human resource management (HCM) intended for a training and training of employees, sales agents and partners, the innovation abilities to manage by training (LMS). Developments of Certpoint will also expand possibilities of such solutions of Infor as Talent, Payroll, Human Resource and Workforce Management unified with the platform for delivery of Enwisen HR Service Delivery Platform services. In general the training technologies from Certpoint will give to Infor the chance to offer more complete software package for human resource management to the organizations and the international corporations in such industries, target for the company, as automotive industry, finance, the food industry, health care, hotel business, manufacturing industry and public sector.

As expect in the company, training will become a key resource of development for clients of Infor from the health care industry as this industry is in process of conversion.
