2020: In children's hospital of Chelyabinsk the surgical body for 4 billion rubles will appear

At the end of December, 2020 the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure of Chelyabinsk region announced competition on design of the new surgical body of children's regional hospital. More than 4 billion rubles, including 3 billion rubles from the federal budget and 1 billion rubles from regional are selected for implementation of all project.

According to plans of the authorities, until the end of 2023 it will be built in the new body there will be 230 surgical and 70 oncohematological beds. Organization will create departments of the emergency, planned surgery, including the center of organ transplantation, the interregional children's neurosurgical center, departments of traumatology and orthopedics, purulent surgery, LOR, ophthalmology, the burn center. Also creation of the oncohematological center is supposed.

At the first stage of project implementation the contractor will have to execute engineering researches on the building site, to develop the sketch of the project of a facade of the building and the design project of premises, to develop the project and work documentation and also to make the estimate of the contract and to provide maintenance when receiving state examination. The contractor will receive 40 million rubles for it.

According to Argumenty i Fakty, scandal over the body of children's hospital inflamed a year ago when the authorities announced intention to exclude under its construction section from a city pine forest. About five hectares lost the security status. In exchange to a pine forest it was decided to attach the territory about 60 hectares near the natural boundary Monks. Change of borders was opposed by ecoactivists. They appealed against the solution in court, however in the middle of December the court of cassation cancelled determination of appeal. Case will be reconsidered, but by the end of 2020 the solution according to which it is authorized to build on section near a pine forest works.^[1]
