2020: Opening of the infectious center

On November 13, 2020 official opening of the new infectious center in Chelyabinsk region took place. Investments into this medical institution made 2.5 billion rubles.

The bed fund of medical institution in the normal mode makes 100 beds for delivery of health care to patients with infectious diseases (82 beds in individual ward boxes and 18 beds in resuscitation boxes). At emergencies and in the conditions of an adverse epidemic situation the bed fund can be increased up to 482 beds, including 54 resuscitation.

In Chelyabinsk region opening of the infectious center for 2.5 billion rubles took place

The structure of the infectious center is provided:

• department of laboratory diagnostics, including PTsR and bacteriological laboratories;
• department of beam methods of diagnostics; receiving and sorting department;
• department of instrumental diagnostics with the equipment of an expert class;
• department of efferent methods of treatment with artificial kidneys, ultrahaemo filterings;
• the hostel for health workers.

It is expected that opening of the center will allow to unload already converted medical organizations of the region and also to enhance diagnostic base, to concentrate holding diagnostic procedures and at early stages of a disease to begin anticipatory therapy.

Lessons of the current epidemiological situation are considered: the lobe system of a construction allows to isolate flows completely; the wonderful modern operating room, at the patient and with a koronavirusny infection, and with any other infection can arise a sharp urgentny status when surgical intervention is required, and here too there are all conditions for this purpose — the First Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Igor Kagramanyan who together with the governor of Chelyabinsk region Alexey Teksler participated in the opening ceremony of the Chelyabinsk regional infectious center said.[1]
