2025: Global sales growth of 7.8% for the year

At the end of 2025, Chery Group recorded an increase in global sales by 7.8%. The total sales volume for the year amounted to 2,806,393 cars, and the total global user base of the brand reached 18.53 million people. Export supplies retained record positions: 1,344,020 cars were delivered outside China, which allowed the company to once again confirm the status of a major exporter of passenger cars from China. The company announced this on January 20, 2026.

In December 2025, Chery Group sold 244,928 vehicles, successfully ending the year and demonstrating sustainable dynamics in key markets for the company.

At the end of the year, the Chery Group reached historical highs in four key areas at once: total sales, exports, sales of cars on new energy sources and product quality indicators. These results have become an important stage in the development of the company and reflect the effectiveness of the chosen strategy.

In December 2025, foreign deliveries amounted to 144,430 cars, which is 46.8% higher than the same period last year. For the first time, the company's monthly export volume exceeded 140,000 cars. At the end of the year, exports grew by 17.4%, and the total foreign deliveries of Chery Group reached 5.85 million cars.

A significant contribution to the results of 2025 was made by the direction of cars on new energy sources. Over the year, Chery Group sold 903,847 such cars, which corresponds to an increase of 54.9% in annual terms. In terms of scale of production and growth, the company continues to occupy leading positions in the industry. More than 90% of the new models introduced in 2025 belong to the segment of cars on new energy sources.

The achievements of 2025 have further strengthened the brand's position at the global level. Chery Automobile has listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

In 2026, Chery Group plans to continue development, focusing on sales growth rates exceeding market averages by 10-20 percentage points, and the further formation of a global high-tech ecosystem company.

2023: Chery increases annual auto sales by 52.6% to 1.88 million units

In 2023, Chery Holding Group sold 1.88 million vehicles, up 52.6% from a year earlier. The volume of machine exports from the Chinese company doubled (an increase of 101%) and reached 937 thousand units. The automaker published such data in early January 2024.

Chery estimated the holding's revenue at 300 billion yuan ($42.25 billion) at the end of 2023, which is more than 50% higher than a year ago.

Chery Tiggo 7 Pro cars

The company claims that by the end of 2023, it ranks first in the export of passenger cars of Chinese brands for 21 years in a row. From the materials of Chery, it also follows that the company has more than 13 million car users around the world, including 3.35 million people outside China.[1]

The website of the Chinese automaker also reports that in 2023 1.34 million cars were sold directly under the Chery brand, which is 47.6% more than a year ago. Sales of vehicles under the brand Exeed soared by 134.9% and reached 125,521 units.

Sales of Jetour SUVs climbed 75% in 2023 (to 315,167 units). At the end of December 2023, the company launched the Chery iCAR electric car brand. The first model in the new line was the iCAR 03 crossover. From December 18 to December 31, 2023, the manufacturer received more than 10 thousand orders for the purchase of iCAR 03. Chery noted that the company emphasizes the promotion of environmental cars.

At the end of January 2026, the Chinese automaker Chery announced the recall of the Jaecoo J7 and Tiggo 7 crossovers.
