Cinematix is the international platform for attraction of financial resources on shootings of movies on a blockchain. Authors of the project — the financier and the patron Ilya Zibarev, the Russian actor, the film director and the producer Konstantin Khabensky and the entrepreneur in the field of a blockchain and the innovative developments, the co-owner of ICOBox company Nikolay Evdokimov.

The Cinematix platform is an instrument of attraction of financing for kinematographings, available to users worldwide. As envisioned by authors of the project, platform will allow to open the road to film business for new directors, screenwriters and small film studios and to help the producers who already achieved success to help to reach the following level — both in the Russian market, and in the USA, India and Asia. Producers of movies will be able to receive financing directly from the interested audience: without communications, policy and lobbying from the large companies.

2018: The announcement of Cinematix in the USA

Konstantin Khabensky, Ilya Zibarev and Nikolay Evdokimov submitted on June 7, 2018 to the USA the international platform for attraction of financial resources on shootings of movies on a blockchain — Cinematix. Thanks to the platform users have an opportunity to support film projects interesting by it by purchase of tokens of Cinematix.io (CINX) using which all calculations on the platform will be performed.

According to authors of the project, on Cinematix specialists of the film industry will be able to provide the ideas and to attract financing under those from them which will be pleasant to users of the platform. In turn, the users who supported the idea will be able to get profit on use of the exclusive rights to the movie when it is shot. Project participants will be able to build for themselves a portfolio from projects of a different genre with a preferable ratio of risks and profitability which will be structurally similar to a film studio.

We became the first people who offered the idea about cinema a world blockchain industry, and we met very great interest and enthusiasm there. It is great that this idea came from Russia there — Konstantin Khabensky said.

To get on the platform, the film project needs to place the request for ñinematix.io and to provide data on the planned shootings — team's line-up, a genre of the movie and the description of the concept and so forth. Further this request will be estimated by professionals of the film industry, and the project will receive forecasts for spectator interest. On belief of authors of the idea, such approach will allow users to deal with what movie to support and what — to pass better.

After that a system will automatically create the page of the project with all provided information, will create the smart contract and will generate its unique token. If the movie is pleasant to users, they will be able to support it by any amount, having purchased the cryptocurrency released the project for tokens of CINX.

Film business is integrated to a high risk, and the input ticket is expensive there. According to the statistics, from 10 movies 4-5 fail in rolling, leave 2-3 in "zero" and become only 1-2 successful and cover all expenses. Enormous costs are required also by production of cinema. The average budget of the movie in the USA — the country which is the absolute leader of film production in the world — makes $139 million. In China which takes the second place – $50 million, in India it on the third place — $15 million. And even this, small digit in comparison, looks huge for small studio. Besides, we give the chance of the film industry to receive inflow of private money of tens of millions of people. It is a unique opportunity for development — Ilya Zibarev said.

As envisioned by authors, the Cinematix blockchain platform will allow to raise funds for shootings of movies

The release of a token of the CINX project is planned for July, 2018, as of June the project carries out closed preseyl. Technically such solution means that each movie carries out own ICO on the platform.

It is supposed that after the project collects the minimum limit of means (so-called "softkep") planned during fundraising process of shootings will begin. If softkep it is not possible to collect, then all means will return to participants. It is planned that in movie course of production its command will provide reports to all holders of tokens who voted for the project, and their relationship will be regulated using the smart contract.

Upon termination of shootings and a release of the movie to big screens the profit got from rolling of the movie will be distributed according to the volume of the rights and through smart contracts will get to purses of holders of "coins".

That the platform earned, we should recruit as much as possible people, having provided strict observance of obligations to them. The blockchain is necessary to this project to provide purity of interaction, expenditure of means and distribution of licensing fees. Terms of transaction are satisfied automatically using the smart contract; the human factor is completely excluded. It means that the project can provide what so lacks in any business: trust and the guaranteed obligation fulfillment — Nikolay Evdokimov emphasized.

For the first time the platform was submitted in May, 2018 in New York. In Russia the announcement of Cinematix is planned for the end of June. It is supposed that by this moment the beta of the platform will be already available. The complete release of the platform is planned for September, 2018.
