2016: Assistance to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation through Becton Dickinson

In November 2016, confidential emails from the head of the election headquarters of Hillary Clinton, John Podesta, were published on the WikiLeaks website. It follows from the correspondence that the Clinton Family Foundation turned to the manufacturer of medical equipment Becton Dickinson & Co., to support the Russian Ministry of Health. It is about providing best practices in the field of safety of medical workers. There is no more detailed information in this regard.

Clinton's adviser on international politics, Amitabh Desai, wrote to the State Department in July 2011 (then led by Hillary) that it was planned to involve members of the Russian government in a project.

The Clinton Foundation asked Becton Dickinson to help the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation

In 2013, one of Becton Dickinson's top managers, Gary Cohen, who, due to the specifics of his work, contacted the Russian authorities, spoke at an event organized by the Clinton Family Foundation-affiliated charity Clinton Global Initiative. As part of that event, Cohen donated $50 thousand to the fund.

It also became known from the published correspondence that the State Department, during the period when it was led by Hillary Clinton, approved a deal to sell Uranium One to Rosatom, after which the former owners of the sold company began to generously invest in the Clinton Family Fund. The sensitivity of the situation is that Russia as a result received up to 20% of American uranium reserves.[1]
