ComputerBild — one of the largest European magazines about computers and digital equipment. On pages of the edition news of the computer industry, article and councils for the interested are published by the Internet, audio-, video and photography equipment. The DVD disk with the e-book, video lessons and a selection of computer programs is applied to each number.

2015: Closing of ComputerBild in Russia

On June 18, 2015 it was announced closing of the ComputerBild magazine. The first about it on the page on Facebook were written by one of editors of the edition Alexey Revin. Information was confirmed by the Chief Editor of ComputerBild Nikolay Levsky in comments on Revin's record.

"Yes, it happened, and yes, it is business.  On it history does not come to an end, and we still will do some fighting" — Levsky noted.

The reason of closing of ComputerBild was stated in Burda publishing house which published this edition.

"The decision was made under the agreement with the licensor of Axel Springer in connection with a difficult economic situation in the country which led to decline in demand for the edition" — reported TAdviser in Burda Publishing House.

The fate of those people who worked on ComputerBild in Russia is unknown. Alexey Revin wrote that he was already engaged in search of new work location.

Closing of the Russian version of the magazine did not influence its work in Germany, Spain, Poland, Italy, Bulgaria and Latvia.

2013: Axel Springer sold the rights to the Burda Publishing House magazine

In March, 2013 Axel Springer holding sold the rights to the Computer Bild magazine in Russia to Burda Publishing House.

2006: Start of the magazine in Russia

In Russia ComputerBild appeared in 2006 and every two weeks was published. Circulation of the magazine exceeded 60 thousand copies.

1996: The first issue of the magazine appears in Germany

The first issue of the edition appeared in Germany in 1996. After that since the end of the 1990th to the middle of the 2000th local versions of the edition appeared also in France, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Lithuania, Romania.
