JSC NPP Kontakt Is a Part of Holding of State Corporation Rostec Ruselectronics. "Contact" – one of the largest enterprises of electronic industry of Russia specializing in release of powerful vacuum electronic instruments for broadcasting, television, distant space and satellite communication, a radar-location, the accelerating equipment. The quality system of the enterprise is certified and conforms to requirements of the international standard ISO 9001-2000.

History

2013

The affiliated enterprise of Ruselectronics (enters into State Corporation Rostec) Contact will develop production of electric distributors and vacuum circuit-breakers on 110 and 220 kV. These technologies are for the first time created in Russia. Investments into the project will make about 312 million rubles.

Vacuum circuit-breakers are used in operation of different transformers and substations. The project will develop within the program of the innovative development till 2020 of Ruselectronics. The main switching devices on 110 kV and are gas-insulated above. They are quite expensive and have a number of shortcomings – for example, ecological danger, need to resupply the isolating elegaz, impossibility of work at a temperature below -40 °C and also need of heating at temperatures below -20 °C. Vacuum circuit-breakers can be operated at considerable fluctuations of ambient temperature (from +50 °C to -60 °C, at the same time the sensor of status monitoring of a vacuum is not required to be installed in vacuum arc extinguish chambers) and do not require high repair and operational costs.
