Contex
So the small European company turned into the world giant and the market leader of large-format scanning of an upper price segment. The Contex scanners are able to work with the thick, crumpled, dirty, put and worn-out documents, with drawings, maps, photocopies and works of art. Devices support the technologies developed actually Contex: for example, Contex ALE allowing to correct spherical errors in the scanning systems based on CCD technology, at the hardware level, or Contex ATAC capable using pressure sensors to automatically determine the optimal height of a guide plate when scanning thick objects.
Contex develops the solutions for the most different scopes: from design to mechanical engineering therefore also the line of scanners differs in variability and width. For example, the universal flat bed scanner Contex HD iFLEX A2 of a format processing documents to format A1 allows to scan volume objects in flat images without distortions original colors and forms (unlike the photo). Contex HD 5400 is developed for situations of superlarge-format scanning in the A0+ and E formats + and allows to process documents of any length without partial scanning and the subsequent combination the uniform image. Contex HD Ultra, the three-time winner of an award of the Wide-Format Imaging magazine, processes documents with the increased speed and improves quality of files for postprocessing in AutoCAD, ESRI and other programs. Contex IQ Quattro of new generation having the Gigabit Ethernet interface and capable to work in a cloud supports the unique CleanScan technology providing quality of scanning.
In a product line of Contex there are also so-called Plugs and Plays of the solution – the scanners which are specially developed for the facilitated integration into the existing printing infrastructure. Being connected to the large-format printer, Contex MFP2GO and Contex MFP Repro turn it into the MFP, saving the place and reducing costs for upgrade of the park of a printing equipment. The compatibility with the majority of large-format printers of the leading world brands is guaranteed by the producer.
The software product Nextimage 4.0 working in a sheaf with the Contex scanners allows not only to process images, including to improve them in the automatic mode, but also to collect files in electronic archive, providing shared access to content. Work with the software is facilitated at the expense of logical and the intuitive interface, and the control of scanners does not require long training that turns them into a convenient superstructure of the existing infrastructure.
