2024: Entering the Moscow market
In October 2024, the St. Petersburg network of clinics of aesthetic medicine "MediAesthetic" announced its entry into the Moscow market with an investment of ₽700 million. As part of the expansion, the company plans to open 15 clinics in the capital, one of which will include plastic surgery services. The President of the company Kakhaber Mchedlidze confirmed this decision, stressing the importance of expanding to the Moscow market for further business growth.
Each of the new medical centers will have an area of 150 square meters. m. and will cost the company ₽20 -25 million. It is planned to open five branches annually. The expansion also includes the creation of an additional four branches in St. Petersburg, which will strengthen the company's position in the region. Mchedlidze expressed confidence that the turnover of new clinics could reach ₽1,3 billion, which will be a significant contribution to the development of the network.
The main investor of the project is the CopperAesthetic network itself, which attracts private investors and one of the investment funds, the name of which has not been disclosed. According to Mchedlidze, negotiations with partners are in an active stage, and a joint implementation of the project is planned. Market experts believe that such a large-scale entry into the Moscow market will be a successful step for the company, especially given the growing demand for aesthetic medicine services in the capital.
The history of the MediAesthetic network began in St. Petersburg, where the first medical center was opened in 1997. Today, the company operates five branches in the city, and also has an international presence - clinics operate in Russia (St. Petersburg, Sochi), the Czech Republic (Prague, Teplice) and Georgia (Tbilisi and other cities). According to the president of the company, the plans also include further expansion into the markets of Austria and Slovakia.[1]
