History
2023: Launch of chassis parts production for Lada Vesta
The Joshkunoz Alabuga company launched mass production of chassis parts for AvtoVAZ in the Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan. Total investments exceeded 1 billion rubles, of which 500 million rubles were provided by the Federal Industrial Development Fund (FRP) in the form of a preferential loan under the Component Products program. This was announced at the end of August 2023.
With the funds raised, Joshkunoz Alabuga purchased high-tech equipment and launched the production of solid and composite metal chassis parts (suspensions and bridges). The volume of production after reaching the design capacity will be 14 million parts per year. Production localization reaches 100%.
The main customer of the products is AvtoVAZ. In July 2023, Joskunoz Alabuga sent the first batch of suspension parts for the Lada Vesta to the carmaker. In the near future, it is planned to launch mass production of parts for Lada Granta, the press service of the FRP said on August 29, 2023.
Joskunoz Alabuga has been operating in the Russian market in the automotive industry for 10 years. In the future, the company intends to establish the production of other chassis parts that will be used when assembling cars of domestic and foreign brands localized in Russia on the conveyor. During the implementation of the project, 74 jobs were created.
Chairman of the Board of the Machine-Building Cluster of Tatarstan Sergey Mayorov positively assessed the cooperation of the plant located in the republic with AvtoVAZ.

2019: Contract with Joscunoz for the supply of body parts
