On March 15, 2018, the Bank of Russia revoked the license from Credit Express Bank (registration number 3186). This was reported on the regulator's website.

The decision was made in connection with the credit institution's failure to comply with federal laws regulating banking activities and Bank of Russia regulations, and repeated violation of the requirements of the federal law "On Combating Legalization" within one year (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism, "as well as the requirements of Bank of Russia regulations issued in accordance with the specified federal law, taking into account the repeated application within one year of measures provided for by the federal law" On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia), "taking into account the presence of a real threat to the interests of creditors and depositors.

"In the activities of CB Credit Express LLC, numerous violations of the requirements of the law in the field of combating the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism have been established in terms of the completeness and correctness of the information submitted to the authorized body, including on operations subject to mandatory control. History

2023: President of "Russian Milk" received 6.5 years in prison on the case of embezzlement of 89 million in the bank

On October 3, 2023, the Cheremushkinsky Court of Moscow sentenced Vasily Brisk and Veliky to 6.5 years in prison the president of the Russian Milk agricultural holding in the case of embezzlement of 190 million rubles of funds from Credit-Express Bank. He was found guilty under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code (misappropriation or embezzlement by an organized group). He will serve his sentence in a general regime colony. Read more here.

2021: Ex-director of bank branch sentenced to 3 years in prison for embezzling 95 million rubles

At the end of April 2021, Elena Chueva, the former manager of the Credit Express bank branch, was sentenced to three years in a general regime colony for stealing 95 million rubles from a credit institution.
