JSC NTK Cryogenic Equipment is a manufacturer of cryogenic equipment.

As of July 2020, NTK Cryogenic Technology produces:

  • cryogenic equipment for storage, transportation and gasification of liquefied gases (oxygen, nitrogen, argon), including * valves and equipment for maintenance;
  • microcriogenic equipment for optical-electronic and thermal imaging equipment in ground, aviation and space complexes;
  • climatic and refrigeration equipment for underwater and surface ships and vessels of the Navy;
  • air conditioning systems for railway transport, military and space equipment;
  • vacuum and compressor equipment.

Offices

As of July 2020, the central office of NTK Cryogenic Technology is located in St. Petersburg. There is also a separate unit in Omsk.

History

2024: The first mass production of vacuum cryogenic pumps for thermonuclear reactors has been launched in Russia. 140 million rubles invested in it

The first mass production of vacuum cryogenic pumps for thermonuclear reactors has been launched in Russia. This became known in September 2924. Omsk enterprise NTK Cryogenic Technology JSC invested ₽140 million in the project, becoming the only domestic manufacturer of this equipment.

The company plans to significantly increase its share in the Russian vacuum cryogenic pump market. The company occupies only 5% of the Russian market, while 95% comes from imports from Western countries, Japan and South Korea. By 2026, Cryogenic Technology intends to increase its share to 50%, producing up to 100 pieces of equipment annually.

Vacuum Cryogenic Pump

Anton Gromov, Deputy General Director of the company, stressed the importance of the project to ensure the import independence of the Russian market. Gromov noted that the company managed to develop and launch into mass production products that could replace foreign analogues, the supply of which was difficult or stopped, as soon as possible.

Vacuum cryogenic pumps are modern equipment for creating ultra-high vacuum. They find application in various high-tech industries and science. In particular, these devices are used as part of particle accelerators and thermonuclear reactors for nuclear power.

In addition, vacuum cryogenic pumps are necessary in the production of printed circuit boards for chips and processors, the manufacture of welding machines and special heat treatment furnaces in the metallurgy of pure metals. They are also used in the production of optoelectronic devices, vacuum devices and in space simulation chambers in aerospace research.[1]

1996: Education of NTK

The Cryogenic Engineering Scientific and Technical Complex was established in 1996 on the basis of divisions of Sibkriotechnika OJSC.
