2018: Envision Healthcare купила Decatur Radiology Physicians

On October 12, 2018 the Envision Healthcare company purchased the center of X-ray radiology Decatur Radiology Physicians. The cost of the transaction is not disclosed.

The Edgemont Capital Partners investment bank acted as the financial advisor of the companies within the agreement. The transaction was closed with the assistance of Jeff Swearingen, the managing director and the cofounder of Edgemont, and the vice president of Decatur Radiology Physicians Vitaly Marchenko.

Envision Healthcare purchased the center of X-ray radiology

Sale of Decatur Radiology Physicians continues a number of the transactions directed to consolidation of clinical services in hospitals – since 2008 it is already the eighty third transaction in the field of radiodiagnosis and radiation therapy. These changes are caused by pressure from regulating authorities, and recently also introduction of the Law on access restriction to confidential data of the insurance Medicare and CHIP systems in 2015.

Therefore the Edgemont company has success long ago as the exclusive consultant for transactions of merge and absorption is the fourteenth closed transaction which she carries out in 2018 on behalf of medical groups and management companies, and the second in the field of radiodiagnosis. Total amount of transactions for 2018 was about $1.5 billion only in case of clients of Edgemont.^[1]
