History

2017: Opening of office in Tbilisi

In May, 2017 Dentons announced opening of office in Tbilisi. The command consisting of 11 lawyers, including two partners, passed into Dentons from DLA Piper. She specializes in such fields of practice as the dispute resolution, corporate law, the banking law and financing, intellectual property, power, work with state bodies, infrastructure and PPP.

Kipshidze's flocks headed office Dentons in Tbilisi as the managing partner and also began to direct practice in the field of the dispute resolution in Georgia. It has impressive experience of maintenance of lawsuits and consultation on questions in the field of corporate law, power, the banking law and financing.

With opening of office in Tbilisi the general staff of Dentons made more than 7800 lawyers at 150 offices more than in 60 countries worldwide.

2013: Merge of several companies and formation of Dentons

On March 28, 2013 began the work of Dentons, the international firm which integrated:

• Salans,
• Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC) и
• SNR Denton.

As a result of merge in the company more than 2,500 lawyers and specialists at 79 offices located in business centers in 52 countries including the countries of Europe, the USA, Great Britain, Canada, the countries of the Pacific Rim, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Dentons becomes the 7th major law firm in the world by the number of lawyers and specialists.
