Department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance for the Tver and Pskov regions

The Department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance for the Tver and Pskov regions (Office of Rosselkhoznadzor on the Tver and Pskov regions) is territorial authority of Federal Service for Veterinary Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) and is created for implementation of functions on control and supervision in the field of:

• veterinary science,
• quarantine and protection of plants,
• ensuring fertility of soils,
• seed farmings of agricultural plants,
• quality assurances and security of grain, grain, compound feeds and components for their production and also grain processing by-products,
• the land relations (in the part concerning the agricultural land),
• functions on protection of the population against diseases, the general for the person and animals,
• and also for implementation of the separate tasks and functions of Rosselkhoznadzor set by legislative and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation.

Powers of Department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance for the Tver and Pskov regions are determined by Regulations on Department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance for the Tver and Pskov regions approved by the order of Federal Service for Veterinary Phytosanitary Surveillance of 4/9/2008 No. 100 and also the Standard regulations on territorial authority of Federal Service for Veterinary Phytosanitary Surveillance approved by the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of 6/13/2006 No. 171.

Powers on implementation of forest control are delegated in Federal Forestry Agency by the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 9/23/2010 No. 736 "About Federal Forestry Agency".
