History

2021: Renamed the Department of Digital Development of the Smolensk Region

By the Decree of the Administration of the Smolensk Region of December 23, 2020 No. 826, the Department of the Smolensk Region for Information Technologies from January 1, 2021 was renamed the Department of Digital Development of the Smolensk Region^[1].

2019: Activities of the Smolensk Region Information Technology Department

The Department Smolensk region is information technology an executive body in the field, on issues of IT communications ensuring the provision state and municipal services in electronic form, as well as improving the public administration system of the Smolensk region. According to information for April 2019, the Department maintains an official -; Internetportal Administration of the Smolensk region formation of state information resources of the region; ensuring safety regional information and communication, infrastructures local state information resources, their protection, safety, integrity and reliability.

2012: Renaming to Smolensk Oblast Information Technology Department

By Decree of the Administration of the Smolensk Region of December 21, 2012 No. 1047, the Department of the Smolensk Region for Information Technologies, Communications and Provision of Services in Electronic Form was renamed the Department of the Smolensk Region for Information Technologies^[2].
