The government allocated 1.3 billion rubles to the Volgograd region for the renovation of hospitals and the purchase of medical equipment

According to the telegram channel of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the Volgograd region in 2024 will receive funds for the development of medical infrastructure. This will be an important step in modernizing the regional health care system. As part of the allocated funding, it is planned to update equipment in the main medical institutions of the region, including regional centers where patients with cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack and stroke are treated.

In addition, the allocated funds will allow the completion of the construction and modernization of several medical facilities, which will significantly improve the conditions of medical care and reduce the time for responding to emergency calls. This is especially important in the face of a growing number of patients requiring prompt care and high-quality diagnosis.

In August 2024, work is actively continuing in the Volgograd region to improve the material and technical base of medical institutions. This program also includes measures to improve the skills of medical personnel, which will ensure the more efficient use of new equipment and technologies.[1]
