2024: Launch of a medical products plant for 450 million rubles

The company "MO Department of Medical Technology" opened the first stage of the production complex for the production of medical devices at the site "Uktus" of the special economic zone "Titanium Valley." Investments in the project amounted to ₽450 million, which became known at the opening ceremony on November 20, 2024.

According to Interfax, the new complex will consist of two buildings with a total area of ​ ​ 16 thousand square meters. The company plans to create 165 new jobs.

The director of the company, Aleksey Tsikin, stressed that the company will produce multifunctional beds and couches for patients, reception counters, medical furniture for medical institutions, as well as vacuum blood sampling systems and resuscitation consumables.

The history of the company began in May 1995, when it was created as part of the Office. In health care Yekaterinburg 2001, the organization was transformed into a commercial structure, and in 2021 it received the status of a resident of the Titanium Valley SEZ.

The production complex is located on the territory of the second stage of the Titanium Valley special economic zone, located on the lands of the Uktus airport with an area of ​ ​ 96 hectares.

The company specializes in comprehensive maintenance of medical equipment, carries out installation and commissioning of equipment, performs calibration and repair work.

The opening of the plant is part of a large-scale project of the SEZ "Titanium Valley," implemented since 2010. The total area of ​ ​ the economic zone is 400 hectares, including sites in Upper Salda and the planned area in Alapaevsk.

The launch of a new production is aimed at developing domestic production of medical equipment and increasing the availability of modern medical equipment for Russian medical institutions.[1]

2021: Production of vacuum systems for drawing blood and consumables for resuscitation in the SEZ "Titanium Valley"

In the special economic zone (SEZ) "Titanium Valley" in the Sverdlovsk region, the production of vacuum systems for drawing blood and consumables for resuscitation is being prepared. The corresponding project is being implemented by the company "Department of Medical Technology," which has become a new resident of this SEZ.

At the Uktus site of Titan Valley, the production of not only vacuum blood and consumables systems for intensive care units, but also case medical furniture for equipping clinics and medical offices will be organized. The start of construction of the enterprise is scheduled for 2021, and the production of products is scheduled for 2023. The area of ​ ​ the plant's production facilities will be 16 thousand square meters. plans for the volume of production of medical products by the end of January 2021 are not disclosed. The Medical Technology Department intends to create about 165 jobs at the facility. Investments in the project will amount to 450 million rubles.

According to the acting head of Yekaterinburg, Alexei Orlov, the emergence of a new production will contribute to the stability of the entire health care system, and its proximity to the regional center will provide hospitals with the necessary materials and modern medical equipment as soon as possible.

Acting First Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Alexander Vysokinsky noted that the production of vacuum blood sampling systems using new technologies will be organized, ensuring the production of a wide range of products at the level of the best European and Asian analogues.

According to the SPARK-Interfax system, by the end of January 2021, LLC Department of Medical Technology is 100% owned by Alexei Tsikin. In addition to this company, Titanium Valley employs such manufacturers of medical devices as Rusmed, which produces syringes, and Zibus, which produces surgical medical devices from titanium, milling cutters, boreholes, and clips.[2]
