2025: Construction of a cable plant for 2.8 billion rubles in the Rostov region
At the end of April 2025, it became known that DKC (JSC DKS) will build a new plant for the production of electrical equipment, including cables, in the Rostov Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Investments in the creation of the enterprise will amount to more than 2.8 billion rubles.
Igor Burakov, General Director of the Agency for Investment Development of the Rostov Region (AIR), spoke about the project. According to him, DKC acquired a site in the Novocherkassk Industrial Park, where it will create production. At the same time, the company is exploring the possibility of becoming a resident of the Rostov SEZ.
As for residency in the SEZ, the company weighs the pros and cons, since this is additional reporting, project schedules, etc. According to our forecast, the company will apply for residency when it comes directly to the construction site, says Burakov. |
The plant is planned to be erected during 2025 or 2026. It is assumed that the products produced at the enterprise will be supplied primarily to Russian customers.

2024: Launch of robotic production of power electrics in Tver
On October 10, 2024, it became known that the DKS company launched a new production of power electrics in Tver, where robotic systems play a key role in assembling products. The company specializes in the production of circuit breakers and other electrical products that are in high demand in the Russian market.
According to Vesti, on the new production line, the robot manipulator supplies the housings and primary assembly of future switches. The role of operators comes down to replenishing components and monitoring the operation of the automated system. Complex structural elements are still assembled manually by enterprise specialists.
Ivan Alexandrov, head of the electrical assembly section No. 1, noted that the line's performance reaches nine thousand products per shift, while the finished product leaves the conveyor every three seconds. Special attention is paid to product quality control, for which many control points with sensors are installed on the line.
The Governor of the Tver Region Igor Rudenya stressed the importance of launching a new production facility for the region. He noted that over the past two years, DKS has not only developed the first robotic warehouse complex in Russia, but also significantly expanded its line of import-substituting products.
The project for the construction of a new production building with an area of 17 thousand square meters. meters was implemented in record time - in just one year. This has created 140 new jobs, and in the future it is planned to double their number as the range of products is expanded.
The head of the power electrician workshop, Alexander Mukhin, spoke about plans for the further development of production. In the coming years, the company intends to equip the production area with new assembly complexes for the production of air circuit breakers and other goods.[2]
