Disikon (DSK)

In 2008. The department of a forest complex of the Nizhny Novgorod Region addressed to GU "NIBI" (The Nizhny Novgorod innovation business incubator) with a request to render assistance in solution of the problem of wildfires. For accomplishment of this task the development team led by I.S. Shishalov offered the innovation concept of monitoring. After a while the Disikon company was founded (further - "DSK"). As for the offered concept, it formed the basis of the Forest Patrol system.

During 2009-2013 research team became the participant of the Microsoft BizSpark program, won a number of competitions of federal level and participated in the All-Russian and international exhibitions.

According to RAS, in 2012 the area of wildfires in Russia was more than 11 million hectares. Implementation of the hardware and software system "Forest Patrol" will significantly reduce damage from accidental and seasonal ignitions and will positively affect an ecological situation in general. The cameras mounted on masts or other high-rise constructions detect smoke, a system will recognize it, determines coordinates and transfers information to the situational center. As a result suppression begins at an early stage, and fire does not manage to spread on the big square. A system is used in 29 regions of Russia and Belarus.

Achievements of the company

• A system is implemented in 20 regions of Russia and Belarus (January, 2013).
• According to Russian Startup Rating 2012, Forest Patrol was included into ten the most dynamic and perspective startups of Russia (December, 2012).
• The project was included into the all-Russian register of the innovation products recommended for use in the country (November, 2012).
• The I place in the All-Russian tender "cloud computing (April, 2012).
• Release of the 3rd version of the software package "Forest Patrol" (April, 2012).
• The DSK company becomes the resident of the innovation center "Skolkovo" (March, 2012).
• Victory in the competition "Telecom Idea" organized MTS (July, 2011).
• On "Day of innovations and advanced technologies of Emercom of Russia" a system was estimated by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoygu (May, 2011).
• Silver medal 39th international "Salon of inventions Geneva" (May, 2011).
• Prize-winner of tender BITS 2011. In the final a system was represented by Olga Shelest (July, 2011).
• The I place in an open competition "Volga region is the territory of security" (2010).
• The most effective innovation project of gallery of innovations of the Nizhny Novgorod forum "United Russia" in 2009. The participant of similar forums in 2010 and 2011.
• The winner of the Russian Venture Fair - 2010.
• Winner of the Federal program of support of the innovative companies (2010).
