2024: Mini-store chain launch

The Dixy retail chain, which is part of the Magnit group of companies, has begun testing a new format of ultra-small stores under the Dixy GO! brand. This is stated in a press release from the company dated June 10, 2024.

Within the framework of the project, small retail outlets are developed for quick and convenient purchases within walking distance from consumers. The first Dixy GO! stores opened in the Moscow region, including one store in Moscow and two in the region. All retail outlets are located on the first floors of residential buildings, which provides easy access for local residents.

As noted in the press service of the Magnit group of companies, the goal of the new format is to provide an opportunity to quickly purchase everyday goods and ready-made food. "Dixie GO!" offers an assortment designed for daily shopping and snacking. Stores have self-service checkouts, which allows you to reduce the time for purchases.

Last year, we updated the Dixy convenience store concept, and now we are starting to pilot the Dixy GO! format. These ultra-smart convenience stores offer a carefully selected assortment for people living at a fast pace of the metropolis, - said Semenov.

According to him, Dixy GO! stores cover an area of ​ ​ 70 to 110 square meters. m and offer an assortment of about 2 thousand items of goods. For comparison, the standard Dixy convenience stores occupy an average of 331 square meters. m and offer an assortment of 6.1 thousand goods. The assortment of mini-stores includes drinks, groceries, confectionery, as well as dairy and meat products, fresh fruits and vegetables, non-food products. Attention is paid to ready-made food, baking and coffee.[1]
