2021: Raising Funds from Winter Capital Partners

March 1, 2021 it became known about the investments of the Winter Capital Partners fund (its key investor is the president of Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin) in DocClub. The financial parameters of the transaction are not disclosed, but the sold share in the startup is announced - 20%.

According to the investment director of the Sistema VC fund (part of the perimeter of Sistema AFK) Emil Gafarov, a startup with such a specialization in the sowing round of investments can be estimated at about $3 million, it follows from this estimate that the amount of the fund's investments in the company can presumably be about $600 thousand.

The deal was closed after the implementation of the pilot in the Yaroslavl region, where in two months out of 150 neurologists in the region, 107 verified specialists became active users.

The attracted investments are planned to spend the implementation of the platform in million-plus cities (Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl) on more than 4,500 doctors of narrow specializations. By March 1, 2021, more than 700 specialists DocClub registered on the platform.

According to the head of the Platform Third Opinion company, which develops artificial intelligence algorithms for medicine, Anna Meshcheryakova, in DocClub doctors do not treat real patients, and the free exchange of information and opinions of doctors in a format similar to a social network can lead to the transfer of unreliable and unverified knowledge.[1]
