2020: Cancellation of the license

On December 4, 2020 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation announced cancellation of the license at JSC MKB Dom-bank. On the value of assets the credit institution took the 384th place in a banking system of Russia, says the regulator.

The Bank of Russia reported that the license is cancelled according to the decision of general shareholder meeting on voluntary liquidation of bank. To the House bank liquidation commission will be appointed. The bank locates sufficient property for meeting requirements of creditors, notes the regulator.

The Central Bank cancelled the license at the House bank

The house - participating bank of deposit insurance system. As reported in Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA), payments to bank depositors will begin no later than December 18, 2020. Before the specified date the agency will publish in the periodic printing edition in the bank location and also will post on the website the agencies on the Internet the official statement about start date of payment of compensation for deposits, the place, time, a form and an order of reception of applications about payment of an insurance indemnity, is told on the website of DIA.

The agency added that for operational reception of applications of investors and the fastest payments of compensation for deposits the agency intends to use agent banks which will be selected on a competitive basis no later than December 10, 2020 in time.

Dom-bank announced the voluntary liquidation in October, 2020. Since then and before cancellation of the license of the Central Bank the credit institution worked in the normal mode, allowing clients to take away money. The reasons of liquidation of bank are not specified.

Dom-bank according to the results of the third quarter 2020 takes the 330th place by the amount of assets in the ranking Interfax-100 prepared by Interfax-CEA. Since the beginning of 2020 on December 4 the Central Bank revoked in total the licenses from 34 banks.^[1]

1993: Creation of bank

JSC MKB DOM-BANK works the Russian financial market since 1995. The history of Bank begins since 1993 when at the initiative of administration of the Domodedovo district and with the assistance of 12 enterprises (from which 10 are the largest in the city district of Domodedovo) the decision on its organization was made. The bank is one of the organizations of the city district Domodedovo.
