In 1944 there begins the history the ship-repair enterprise "Dunaysudoservice". For ensuring repair of the fighting ships of the Danube flotilla "The ship-repair workshop" in the Izmail sleeve of Danube was based.
In 1952 "The ship-repair workshop" is transformed to "The Izmail ship-repair mechanical plant", and since November, 1962 the plant becomes basic repair shop of the fishing Consolidation "Antartika".
The plant was focused on SChS, PTS, SRTM ship repair, Atlantic and "Super-Atlantik", and since 1991 with acquisition of the new equipment repair of sea and "UDP" river crafts became possible.
In 1995 the plant passed a private property and was renamed into JSC Dunayskaya Sudoservisnaya Kompaniya.
In the course of restructuring in 2002 the enterprise was separated into two parts:
- JSC Izmail River Port Dunaysudoservice;
- Ship-repair Enterprise Dunaysudoservice LLC.
In 2002-2003 there is a change of the owner. The enterprise has an exclusive gain of production volume. For short term Dunaysudoservice recovers the former positions in the market.
