eMarketer in the spring of 2016 it was purchased by the German media holding Axel Springer. Transaction amount, by some estimates, was $250 million Axel Springer took 93% of shares of the company. Other 7% are distributed between the head of EMarketer Terry Chabrou and the chief innovation officer Jeff Ramsi.
