2025: Completion
In the city of Elektrougli, Moscow Region, the construction of a distribution center in the Vostochny terminal and logistics center has been completed. The volume of investments in the project amounted to ₽2 billion. This was reported by the Main Directorate of State Construction Supervision of the Moscow Region on November 19, 2025.
Based on the results of the audit, the developer issued a conclusion on the compliance of the object with the project. In the near future, the facility will be put into operation. The new distribution center will become the fifth warehouse site as part of the terminal and logistics complex.
In theThe total area of the distribution center is about five hectares. Container cargo arriving by rail will be stored and processed here. The facility is equipped with the necessary infrastructure for receiving, storing and sending cargo flows. The platform is designed to work with large-tonnage containers of standard sizes.
In 2025, the average annual freight turnover of TLC Vostochny is more than one million conventional containers, which is equivalent to 20.240 million tons. With the launch of the fifth warehouse site, the annual cargo turnover will grow to 20.339 million tons. The increase in capacity will allow handling additional cargo without creating congestion at existing sites.
The increase in the throughput capacity of the terminal and logistics center opens up opportunities for the growth of foreign trade operations. Additional capacities are in demand against the background of expanding trade with Asian countries. Redirecting cargo flows to the eastern direction increases the load on the infrastructure.
The expansion of a large logistics hub will open up growth prospects for enterprises in the Bogorodsky urban district. Local residents will be given about 20 new jobs by the facility. These are vacancies for warehouse equipment operators, loaders, dispatchers and administrative staff. Job creation contributes to the development of the territory.[1]
