History

2022: Transfer of the Russian division to the CEO of the company

The supplier of water to the house and office of Eden Springs transferred the Russian division (Eden Springs LLC) to the company's CEO Navin Singh. This became known at the end of October 2022.

He wrote Kommersant about the transaction with reference to the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Singh's share is said to be pledged by Eden Springs Nederland B.V. and Carbon Luxembourg S.a r.l.

Eden Springs is part of Primo Water Corporation, whose management has decided to withdraw from Russian business. The company's plant was based in Domodedovo. The capacity of the enterprise is estimated at the production of more than 1.5 thousand bottles with a capacity of 19 liters per hour. According to the source of the newspaper, the European company also planned to build a plant in St. Petersburg, but in the end refused to implement the project due to the action of international sanctions and the aggravation of the geopolitical situation.

Anna Molchanova, general director of the Delta TD, which is part of Arkhyz Original, notes that competition in the segment of water supply to home and offices is changing, since the measures of additional regulation introduced by the state in the form of labeling, as well as increased costs and difficulties with logistics, reduce the efficiency of a number of players. In her opinion, the exit of Eden Springs from the Russian division is unlikely to lead to radical changes in the company if the business generated good cash flow and shareholder money was not a source of funding. Otherwise, we can expect a decrease in product prices and profitability in order to increase sales revenue due to revenue growth, Molchanova said.

By October 2022, Eden Springs operates in more than 18 countries, supplies more than 750 million litres of bottled water annually, and has more than 800,000 water and coffee customers. Since 2016, Eden Springs is part of Primo Water Corporation, which holds a leading position in this area in North America, Europe and Israel.[1]
