History
The bank is created in 1991 under the name "Baltkonversbank". In 1995 it is reorganized into limited liability company — Evropeysky investment commercial bank (since 2001 — private company). Initially founders of bank - five legal entities: commercial bank of conversion Konversbank (33.3%), STC Inform (27.9%), self-supporting company "Centroveks" (20%), MT "Fund of development of the city" (9.4%), WEF Kaliningrad-Intorg (9.4%). In 1994 — 1999 companies "Gaz-Oil", "Mostransgaz", "Lentransgaz", Gazprombank and Gazfond were among participants of bank.
As of December, 2013 the main aktsionery bank: the Cyprus offshore of Iluzanion Konsaltants Limited (19.66%), NPF Regionfond * (4.30%), natural persons — Bogdan Yarovoy and his mother Yulia (29.21%), Evgenia Selikhova (19.91%), the chairman of the board of directors of Intrastbank Oleg Tarasov (16.73%), Bogdan Budzulyak (9.74%).
In net assets 52% are the share of the loan portfolio, less than 4% of the total amount of loans are overdue. About 90% of all credits are issued to corporate borrowers. The share of the means placed on corresponding accounts of type "nostro" in nonresident banks (14% of net assets) is traditionally high. The bank speaks at the interbank credit market where 17% of net assets are placed, as the donor of means. The main component of a passive part of balance is a remaining balance on checking accounts and deposits of corporate clients — more than 54% of liabilities, deposits of the population create 29%. At the end of 2011 European got net profit under RAS in the amount of 155.4 million rubles (in 2010 the similar indicator was 142.6 million).
