2015: Allied Telesis announces creation of Allied Telesis Wireless

In January, 2015 the Allied Telesis company, producer and one of developers of the protected solutions for switching of IP/Ethernet networks and network solutions for video transmission, a voice, data, announced creation of Allied Telesis Wireless, Ltd., division of Allied Telesis Group. The company includes the former Extricom command and all its assets: intellectual property, advanced technologies, product line and customer base. Allied Telesis Wireless is created for the purpose of improvement of the existing wire and wireless solutions of network producer. The product line of Extricom is applied for already more than 10 years in such difficult environments as big public platforms, warehouses, industrial enterprises, schools and medical institutions in North America, Europe and Asia.

The Extricom Channel Blanket technology will provide the infrastructure wireless solutions Allied Telesis with reliability of level of wire solutions with high capacity, seamless mobility, unprecedented noise stability and easier installation and use, than at the majority of alternatives in the market, thanks to lack of need of radio-frequency planning. Supplementing solutions based on the Allied Telesis Unified Wireless Controller (UWC) controller and the existing TQ series access points, the product line of Extricom will provide high quality of voice transmission, data, video and a location with continuous roaming in the most difficult high density environments.
