2019: The former head of HPE purchased a share in football club "Cincinnati"
At the end of November, 2019 it became known that Meg Whitman purchased a 20 percent share in the football club FC Cincinnati acting in the highest division of a system of football leagues MLS of the USA.
The former CEO of HPE and eBay acquired shares together with the husband Griff Harsh for $100 million therefore all command was estimated at $500 million, Bloomberg with reference to informed sources tells.
Whitman became the sixth woman in council of club of MLS and a heel in the last two years. Karl Lindner, the chief executive of American Financial Group, remained the majority owner of FC Cincinnati.
Other investors are the CEO of Cintas Scott Pharmer (Scott Farmer), George Joseph from Joseph Auto Group and Larry Sheakley, the founder of Sheakley Group Cos.

Uitmen's investments should help FC Cincinnati which finished on the last place on the Eastern Conference in 2019. The club has huge capital costs, including of a new training complex of $35 million and expansion of football stadium for $25 million.
Earlier Mag Uitmen already showed interest in clubs of MLS. So, in 2017 it entered into group of the investors who wished to purchase a command in Sacramento. Later she refused the intentions for the unknown reasons.[1]
