The center is a legal successor of the Central research, project and technology and design institute of mechanization of the lnovodstvo with pilot production created according to the order of the State commission of Council of Ministers of the USSR on food and purchases of September 27, 1989 No. 6 and the order of State Agricultural Committee of the Nonchernozem zone of RSFSR of November 9, 1989 No. 326 based on the GOSNITI Kalinin branch.
