Fidessa Group is a British developer of financial software. The company offers trading systems for customers of the financial sector, as well as brokerage hosting networks based on the  FIX protocol.

Fidessa is headquartered in Woking, and additional offices are located in London, New York, Boston, Tokyo, Ghosn Kong, Paris, Toronto, San Francisco, Belfast, Singapore, Bahrain, Sydney and San Paolo.

2018: Temenos buys Fidessa for $2 billion

In February 2018 Swiss , the developer software Temenos announced the purchase of Fidessa for 1.4 billion pounds (almost $2 billion at the rate at the time of the announcement of the transaction).

Under the terms of the agreement, Fidessa shareholders will receive £35.67 of cash from Temenos for each security they own. This is 37% more than the rate of quotes as of February 16, the agency notes. Reuters In addition, investors in the British company are entitled to dividends in the amount of 79.7 pence for 2017.

Fidessa financier software developer sold for $2 billion

It is planned to close the deal in the first half of 2018. This is the largest acquisition for Temenos. To pay for the purchase, the company intends to attract loans in the amount of up to 1.43 billion pounds.

The annual revenue of the combined company is estimated at more than $1.2 billion, and profit margin - at 32.3%. The latest figure can be brought to 37% after the plan to reduce $60 million in annual expenses through the transaction is completed, Temenos said.[1]
